Part two of the Science of Nesting Birds program presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension and Lab of Ornithology NestWatch Program staff. Learn how to safely check nest boxes (also called birdhouses) and record information such as the GPS coordinates of nest sites, species of birds, and number of eggs and babies. Data collected will be added to NestWatch, a citizen science project. Come back for the third workshop in the series and build a nest box to take home. These free, multi-part workshops are geared toward families with children ages 8 to 13.
