The Catskill Gallery Association, working with Greene County Council on the Arts (GCCA), is sponsoring the Fourth Annual Catskill Artists Studio & Gallery Tour, scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, September 10th and 11th, 2011, with a special preview exhibition and party Friday night, September 9 from 6-9 PM at the GCCA Catskill Gallery, 398 Main St. Featuring over 20 artists in the Village of Catskill and surrounding hamlets, this annually-expanding tour provides a unique look at the working environments of some of the Hudson Valley’s most significant contemporary artists, as well as special shows and exhibitions mounted by Catskill’s famed collection of contemporary and historic galleries. Interested in how artists’ gardens and hand-made homes affect, reflect, and nurture their visions? Looking for truly innovative home-design ideas, as well as some cutting edge art in works?
