The Interfaith Community Thanksgiving Service will be offered by the clergy of the Hudson Interfaith Council. All are invited, including those with any or no church or religious affiliation. The time coordinates with the annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the First Presbyterian Church, located at 369 Warren St. (Fourth St.). Dinner will be served from 12 p.m. (noon) to 2 p.m. The service includes readings from the Hebrew, Muslim, and Christian scriptures, and familiar Thanksgiving hymns. A special prayer litany addressing concerns of peace, justice, the environment and needs of the poor will be offered. The Rev. Eileen Weglarz, interim rector of Christ Church, will preach.
