An evening of performances by Half Waif, Christopher Tignor, and Emily Ritz. This is a ticketed event, and will be held in the space next door to HiLo (formerly the Catskill Mill). The music will be amplified through their house-made sound system.
Half Waif: Nandi Rose Plunkett writes, records and performs under the name Half Waif. Her music includes blinking electronic soundscapes, echoes of Celtic melodies, and the elegiac chord changes of 19th-century art music. http://www.half-waif.com/
Christopher Tignor: Christopher Tignor is a composer, violinist, lecturer, and software engineer. He has released eight LPs on the Western Vinyl and New Albion record labels. http://www.wiresundertension.com/
Emily Ritz: Emily Ritz is a musician and visual artist who creates otherworldly soul music. A native New Yorker, Ritz spent nearly a decade in the Bay Area making art and performing/releasing music with bands Yesway, Honeycomb, and DRMS. Though her music and art remain very much inspired by the lush landscapes of Northern California, Ritz moved back East to Hudson, NY in 2016. There, she began performing under her own name for the first time and recorded her first solo album Pattern Recess. https://www.emilyritz.com/
