In collaboration with the City of Hudson Senior Center, The Hudson Library presents “Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sleep But Were Too Tired To Ask,” a health talk and discussion with Dr. Paul Spector. Many people know of Dr. Spector through his ever popular Core Strength and Balance classes at the library. Now, in this second in a series of health talks Dr. Spector discusses the topic of sleep. “Our appreciation of the consequences of sleep loss has grown over the last 50 years and now includes impaired learning, memory, decision making, and reaction time, increased risk of hypertension, seizure and migraine and many more.”, Dr. Spector says. Learn how sleep loss affects us and how to get the sleep we need. The class is free and and wheelchair accessible. There will be healthy refreshments by local vendors following the program. To register please visit the front desk at the library, call 518.828.1792 x101, or email programs@hudsonarealibrary.org.
