Legendary bassist and bandleader William Parker, who was to launch the Monday night jazz series at the new venue, Quinn's, will now instead perform solo at the Beacon venue Dogwood. Quinn's continues to run into challenges as its ongoing renovations to prepare its ultimate grand re-opening -- as a result, Dogwood has graciously offered to open on a Monday night when they would usually be closed in order to present Parker in this rare Hudson Valley solo appearance.
