Columbia County Soil and Water Conservation District leads an educational program about northeastern nocturnal animals. Pamela Price, Certified Wildlife Biologist and Education Program Coordinator at Mud Creek Environmental Learning Center, gives a brief talk about nocturnal neighbors and the adaptations that allow them to navigate their dark world. Then we’ll head out to explore the Mud Creek trail, search for nocturnal animals and test our own night vision – or lack thereof. Please dress for the weather. Columbia County Soil and Water Conservation District (www.ccswcd.org) provides educational programs and services to help residents and communities manage and protect the natural resources of Columbia County. **This event is FREE, however, REGISTRATION IS REQUESTED – please contact Pamela Price at 518-267-3313.
