The Ulster County Chamber of Commerce says Rep. John Faso will speak at the group's January Breakfast Meeting. "Faso plans to discuss his second-year agenda for improving the local business climate. He is also expected to detail the reasoning behind his vote against the recent tax reform bill," according to the group's website. The event is at 7:30 a.m. Jan. 25, and reservations are required.

Greene County Council on the Arts launches its 2018 season with Ginnie Gardiner and Martin Katzoff: Conversations in Color, on view from January 27 through March 10, 2018. Gardiner and Katzoff, both oil painters, will be present at the opening reception, immediately following the GCCA Annual Membership Meeting.

Inspired by the 1957 Jack Kerouac novel of the same title, On The Road is an evening-length, multi-media piece that contemplates the general upheaval of the 1960s and the beat generation’s notions of social rebellion. While in residence, the company will work on Sacred, a new piece, which incorporates themes from American Indian culture with contemporary dance.

In this session, iOS Devices, the fourth in a series of workshops on various Apple-related topics to be held Mondays in January, taught by former Apple certified trainer James Pendergrast.
