Chatham’s sixteenth annual WinterFest celebration will kick off Dec. 4 with the arrival of Santa on a firetruck, and will continue throughout the weekend. There will be caroling at 6:45 p.m. Dec. 4, with Santa will arrive at 7 p.m. There will be free face-painting for kids and hot chocolate will be for sale. The Tracy Memorial Village Hall will be Winterfest Headquarters on Dec. 5 with local artisans selling their wares upstairs and a blacksmith demonstration will be held outside.
