Concurrent with his exhibition of work at Cairo's new coffee shop, HW Coffee Co., Munster is currently working on a series of pictures for his magazine, Footsteps, which will be dedicated to the writings of HP Lovecraft and appear as a graphic novel. In addition to photography, Bill has had three books published, all of them on writer Dean Koontz, and has had close to 50 essays and articles published in such places as USA Today, Read, NYSUT Newsletter, and several magazines such as Twilight Zone, Night Cry, and Crime Beat. His essays and reviews lean towards the horror and dark fantasy genre. Bill and his wife Marie, live with their daughter Kacie in Purling, NY. Bill Munster is a graduate of The Germain School of Photography in New York City. During his time at Germain, he garnered three award winning prints, and his work appeared in The New York Times, Newsday, and even the now defunct, NY Herald Tribune. Following his education at Germain, he then went on to become a high school English teacher untill he retired. Concurrent with his exhibition of work at Cairo's new coffee shop, HW Coffee Co., Munster is currently working on a series of pictures for his magazine, Footsteps, which will be dedicated to the writings of HP Lovecraft and appear as a graphic novel. In addition to photography, Bill has had three books published, all of them on writer Dean Koontz, and has had close to 50 essays and articles published in such places as USA Today, Read, NYSUT Newsletter, and several magazines such as Twilight Zone, Night Cry, and Crime Beat. His essays and reviews lean towards the horror and dark fantasy genre. Bill and his wife Marie, live with their daughter Kacie in Purling, NY. Their son Johanthan and his wife, Ashley, live in Cairo.

Warren Street June 11 through August 14, 2011 Curated by Richard Roth, Warren Street is a show of painting and photography with Hudson's main thoroughfare as subject and the Lynn Davis Warren Street Project (courtesy Historic Hudson) as centerpiece. Opening reception with the artists is on Saturday, June 11 from 6 - 8 p.m. Hudson Opera House History On Display in the West Room This exhibition includes photographs, drawings, reproductions, and objects that relate to the extraordinary history of the Hudson Opera House. Community members with related material are invited to bring work to the Opera House for inclusion in the exhibition. Any old photos or items related to the history of the building will be greatly appreciated.

This is a two-part class held on Tuesdays, June 14 and 21 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Both classes are open to adult library patrons with basic computer and Internet skills.
