Learn the basics of paper folding! This three-hour workshop will include folding a cup, a water bomb (ball), a box, and if time allows, the traditional crane. Bring your own dollar bill and we'll also make a dollar bill origami t-shirt. Instructor: Ruby Silvious has been folding paper since she was five. Early influences include her Japanese great grandmother who taught her how to fold her first crane (bird). She now specializes in making traditional origami models into unique art forms. Ruby is a painter, printmaker and graphic designer whose award winning art was recently exhibited in Albany and Greene counties. She lives in Coxsackie with her husband and son.
