In this broadcast, host George Spencer speaks with three members of the Columbia County creative community. Artist and author Julie Metz talks about her newly published book, Eva and Eve, about her discovery of the details of her mother’s childhood in, and escape from Vienna as the Nazis began the Final Solution. This book of recreated history also relates how these events impacted the lives of two generations of women. Elena Mosley is the Executive Director of the non-profit organization Operation Unite. Operation Unite provides educational, social, cultural, performing, and visual arts and recreational programs for residents of Columbia County and neighboring communities. And Ifetayo Cobbins. a self-taught poet and visual artist and lifetime resident of Hudson. Cobbins talks about how she became an artist and writer, her thoughts about the art world, and her plans for the future. She recently had an exhibition of her work at Window on Hudson at 33 South 3rd Street.
