12:05 a.m.: Radio Stew: 9/11 Lots of sounds and remembrances of Sept. 11, 2001. Including "WTC 9/11, a composition by Steve Reich for string quartet written in 2009–2010 which premiered on March 19, 2011 at Duke University. The piece was written for the Kronos Quartet, who performed the premiere, and was co-commissioned by Barbican Centre, Carnegie Hall, Duke University, the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, the Philharmonic Society of Orange County, the Phyllis C. Wattis Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Arts. The piece draws inspiration from the events of Sept. 11, 2001. Other 9/11 recordings are considered.

9:30 p.m.: 69: Michael Chapman Ladies and Gentlemen! Please join the Magic Stranger for an evening of music by British recording artist Michael Chapman. Chapman will perform at Soundscape at Basilica Hudson 7:30 p.m., Fri., Sept. 12. Chapman has been releasing folk, blues, and rock tunes since, yes, 1969. He came on the scene in 1967 and has since released at least 29 studio albums. In 2011 and 2012 he released two experimental ambient acid folk psych records not unlike John Fahey's later efforts.
