The day ahead on WGXC 90.7-FM
1 a.m.: Wage / Working Jukebox Audio Portraits Laura Hadden and Tennessee Watson were at Wave Farm spring 2013 as Artists-in-Residence, working on this project, "Wage/Working" These interviews addresses the issues of income inequality and the concept of wage through a time-based transmission installation and a radio broadcast series on free103point9’s WGXC 90.7-FM. During their time in Greene County, these two accomplished radio producers and artists collected stories and interviews with workers in Greene and Columbia counties regarding their jobs and their relationship to their work. Here are four hours of their interviews, in conjunction with the moving of the jukebox holding the interviews, from the Cairo Library to the Athens Cultural Center, beginning Sat., May 31 with an opening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
