Valatie transmitter manufacturer closes

The manufacturing company that received a Community Development Block Grant went out of business in recent months, after founder Bernard Wise died last year. Wise was internationally famous in radio broadcasting circles for his “grounded grid” transmitter innovation. The company made radio transmitters for stations around the world, including for WGXC.
