Jim Planck reports in The Daily Mail the Catskill Town Board unanimously approved an application for $500,000 in state grant funding to continue upgrades at Ricky Cramer Field in Jefferson Heights, Tues., July 3. The proposed addition includes the construction of a second baseball diamond, a walkway behind the existing field and an extension of the parking area. If funding is approved, the state will cover 75 percent of the total cost.
