The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the greater Capital Region, Mid-Hudson Valley, eastern and central Mohawk Valley, Lake George/Saratoga region, Taconics and for southern Vermont, effective Thurs., Feb. 27. Scattered to numerous snow showers and embedded heavier snow squalls are expected Thursday afternoon and early evening. This may lead to periods of greatly reduced visibilities and snow-covered roadways. A storm system may impact the region with significant snowfall late Sun., Mar. 2 through Mon., Mar. 3.
