Albany County considers banning microbeads

Sep 16, 2015 12:04 am
WNYT reports that County Legislator Bryan Clenahan announced legislation for Albany County Sept. 14 that would ban microbeads from cosmetic products. Erie County, Suffolk, and Westchester counties have also banned the tiny scrubbing agents after a state ban failed last year. They also absorb PCBs and are eaten by fish. Read the full story in WNYT.
