Chatham man's body recovered

Bryan Fitzgerald of The Albany Times-Union reports that police have recovered the body of a 45-year-old Chatham man who jumped off the Normans Kill Bridge on Tuesday night. The man, whose identity has not been released, was pulled from the creek at 10:30 a.m. Wed., Jan. 18. State police Lt. Thomas Heffernan told the Times-Union the man left a note at his home indicating he was "very despondent and possibly suicidal." Read the article in the Times-Union.
