Hudson City Board of Ed selects new member

Oct 23, 2013 6:58 am
Art Cusano is reporting in the Register Star the Hudson City School District Board of Education has appointed city resident David Kisselburgh as its newest member. Kisselburgh will assume the seat formerly held by Greenport resident Elizabeth Fout, who resigned last month. Kisselburgh is a lifelong Hudson resident. He is the director of environmental services at Columbia Memorial Hospital and is a Hudson High School graduate. His five grandchildren are currently enrolled in the district. Following a closed door session, the board chose Kisselburgh over two other self-nominated applicants: Arthur Cincotti and Scott diMonda. Cincotti is a Hudson resident and the spouse of a Hudson High faculty member; Greenport resident diMonda was a candidate in the 2013 board election, placing fourth in a field of five candidates. The Kisselburgh appointment is effective through the May board election. Read the full story in the Register Star.
