Kyle Wind reports in the Daily Freeman the Greene and Schenectady county boards of elections continued to count absentee and affidavit ballots late into the afternoon, Wed., Nov. 21, in the race between Democrat Cecilia Tkaczyk (KAT-chik) and Republican George Amedore for the 46th Senate District seat. Final results from those two counties were not yet available. A spokesman for the assemblyman's campaign said Amedore has pulled ahead by more than 414 votes as the counting continued. A spokesman for the Tkaczyk campaign said as the ballots continue to be counted, they expect the situation to remain fluid. Read the full story in the Daily Freeman.
