• Rip Van Winkle Amateur Radio Society holds a Volunter Examineer license session at 10 a.m., Sun., Jan. 18 at East Chatham Firehouse, 14 Frisbee St., East Chatham. All class of licenses will be tested. Anyone wishing to upgrade their license or take the tech exam is welcome.

• There is a workshop "Business Communication for Small Business" from 7-9 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Mountaintop Library in Tannersville. Participants must register by Jan. 20.

The drive will be held on-air and online from Feb. 12–Feb. 28. The pledge drive opens with a Pop-Up Shop event Feb. 13–Feb. 15 at 117 Warren St. in Hudson. For Valentine's Day weekend, this is a shopping experience with handmade goods organized by Elizabeth Powell of Lenox Local.
