John Mason is reporting in the Register Star the new owners of the former Ackerman's Appliance store, located at the corner of Warren and Eighth streets in Hudson, have announced plans to open a year-round fish, meat and produce market. The Hudson Anchor Market and Supply will be housed in the first floor and basement of 752 Warren Street. It is projected to open in June 2014. The owners' intention is to provide a market near the city center catering to a pedestrian customer base. Co-owner Howard Crouch said the market will offer food grown and raised in the Hudson River Valley. Read the full story in the Register Star.
