Ed Beaty,retired from the Metropolitan Opera Broadcasts, presents a look at opera that everyone can enjoy. Ed Beaty worked in broadcast production at the Metropolitan Opera, overseeing production and archives. Beaty retired to Hudson after 37 years and over 1,000 broadcasts for the Metropolitan Opera. In addition to the Met he also oversaw thousands of other broadcasts ranging from football to Bob & Ray to Romper Room.
