Cuomo brings back former aide for DC office

James M. Odato reports in his column in the Albany Times-Union that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo hired Alexander Cochran, a former U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development aide to then-HUD secretary Cuomo, to run New York's office in Washington, D.C. "The unannounced appointment of lobbyist Alexander Cochran, who has been an advocate for clients at four Democratic National Conventions, may indicate that Cuomo wants to improve his nationwide political network in case his interests expand beyond Albany," Odato writes.
