Bethany Bump reports in the Albany Times Union that three Greene County residents were found overdosed in a car stopped in the middle of Route 156 in Berne April 11 and were revived by first responders using Narcan, a drug that reverses an opioid overdose. Two of the occupants found in the southern Albany County town on Berne-Altamont Road were from Catskill, and the other was from Freehold. All three are recovering at area hospitals, Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple said. "For three people in a car to go down — that's not a good sign," he said. "The first thing that crosses my mind is, oh boy, let's start watching out for a bad batch, for other possible overdoses." Read the full story in the Albany Times Union.
