Ulster County officials to consider term limits
Jan 29, 2018 12:45 pm
MidHudsonNews [dot] com is reporting the chairman of the Ulster County Legislature will urge the passage of term limits this year. Kenneth Ronk is making the initiative a top priority in 2018. Ronk, who was re-elected to the leadership post earlier this month, would like to limit the number of years that an individual would serve. “I think that three, four-year terms is the right amount of time for a county legislator and it is something that myself and other legislators are going to be pushing this year,” he said. The Republicans hold a one-vote majority over the Democrats on the county legislature.
