School Officials, and community members in Hudson, NY are searching for alternatives to incarceration of our youth. They are beginning to explore models of Restorative justice as an alternative to suspensions, PINS (persons in need of supervision) and incarceration. Tune in to hear coverage of a panel featuring Hon. Richard Koweek Columbia County Family Court Judge & Mr. Lee Wynn former Director of Office of Children and Families Services Tyron Facility for boys, members of the Staley B. Keith Social Justice Center and other community members as they work from identifying the problems of the school to prison pipeline and begin to move towards a solution: Restorative Justice. This Program also features the voices of Restorative Justice experts Howard Zehr and Dominic Bartle as well as a youth-produced piece by Radio Rootz.
