The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for east central New York, western Massachusetts, southern Vermont and northwestern Connecticut. A widespread, one- to two-inch rainfall is expected through Thursday. Embedded bands of heavy rain will lead to locally higher amounts. Due to recent dry conditions river flooding is not expected; however, minor flooding of urban and other drainage locations will be possible, especially where fallen leaves clog storm drains. Isolated thunderstorms are also possible. Some of the thunderstorms may produce brief gusty winds.

The hearing was held Oct. 15 at the A.B. Shaw Firehouse in Claverack. The hearing was conducted for public comment on the tax breaks and incentives in the proposed PILOT (Payment in Lieu of Taxes) program for the Ginsberg's expansion project.
