Arts program announces second round of funding

The Hudson Arts Emergency Program Sat., May 16, announced funding to 16 artists in the second round of emergency funding. The community-funded project supports individual artists for work that speaks to life in Hudson during the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown. A total of $10,000 has been awarded during the two rounds. The proposals funded consist of painting, photography, installations, musical compositions, performance, dance, field recordings and video. Individuals awarded stipends during the second round include Victor Bloom, Valerie Shaff, Marc Scrivo, Rebecca Borer, Alison Fox, Victoria Sambunaris, Sondra Loring, Emily Smith, James Autery, Lydia Rubio, Jeremy Bullis, Suzanne Snider, Jane Ehrlich, Pauline Decarmo, Louise Smith and Elise McMahon. The Hudson Arts Emergency Program is a project developed by the Hudson Development Corporation Emergency Cultural Task Force. The task force consists of Seth Rogovoy, Linda Mussmann, Jonah Bokaer, and Branda Maholtz.
