12:05 a.m.: Radio Stew: World Amateur Radio Day This year marks the 88th anniversary of the founding of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU). To mark this occasion, the IARU and its more than 160 Member Societies will celebrate World Amateur Radio Day on April 18. For many years, the IARU Administrative Council has declared a theme for each World Amateur Radio Day. The theme for 2013 is Amateur Radio: Entering Its Second Century of Disaster Communications.

2 p.m.: Between the Lines: Art Murphy and Nina Sklansky Catskill-based fine arts photographer Art Murphy loves invertebrate fossils. So much so, they have become something of an all-consuming passion. A passion that's resulted in an event most photographers can only dream about: a solo exhibition this September at the Museum of Natural History in Florence, Italy, which he likens to "the Sistine Chapel of fossils." Engaging, witty and articulate, Art takes us on a journey that begins more than 350 million years ago. Also channeling her passions: Nina Sklanksy, a Catskill resident who's launched a website, marketing campaign and attracted a team of like-minded souls all intent on promoting the village of Catskill.

The producer is Joseph C McGuire. This week: A Sisters of Crime series about a young women named Constance Dunlap. Taking place during the Roaring 20's when women were breaking out of the confines of the Victorian era. Here's a women who is celebrating her gaining freedom with adventures in crime.
