Sound Art and Historical Environmental Project. PSG was an event of the "5 Dutch Days and 5 Boroughs: Dutch Arts and Culture Past and Present," an annual celebration of the continuous influence of Dutch arts and culture in New York City - from the City's enterprising, multicultural origins as a Dutch colony to the pivotal role of contemporary Dutch artists and designers in today's international cultural scene. The 5 Dutch Days/Netherland-America Foundation's re-grant program, which provides support to Dutch artists, thereby encouraging the connection of contemporary Dutch culture with historic sites in New York City, supported PSG artist R. Ridgway in creating "DOUBLE DUTCH" with the Double Dutch Divas, a site-specific performance and mixed-media installation at the Dyckman Farmhouse (see www.dyckmanfarmhouse.org for details).
