Born in 1975 in Mexico City, Martha Riva Palacio Obón has a BA in Psychology and a MBA in Visual Arts. She considers herself a self-taught sound artist and maintains an interdisciplinary aproach to her projects. Obón's work was selected for the 5th FKL Symposium in Italy, the 2011 WFAE International Conference in Greece, yhe Border Project exhibition at the University of Arizona Museum of Art, and the 2012 Soundasaurus Festival organized by Epcor Centre for Performing Arts in Canada among others.
