MoveOn, Democracy for America, and the Working Families Party are sponsoring "honk-and-wave" rallies around the country this weekend supporting Massachussets Senator Elizabeth Warren, including Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. in Kinderhook, at 1:30 p.m. in Saratoga Springs, and Feb. 15 in Colonie. Warren has said, "no" when asked if she will run for president, but activist groups think her consumer advocacy would make for a good president. The Kinderhook rally is at Kinderhook Village Square. "She stands for a lot of positive things in our eyes and that's really what we're trying to promote," Jim Botta, an organizer for the Albany rally, said. Read the full story in the Albany Times-Union.
