The Daily Freeman reports that an “Air Quality Health Advisory” will be in effect Sunday for the lower Hudson Valley regions, as a hot, muggy day is expected. The advisory, for ozone, will be in effect from 11 a.m. through 11 p.m., and comes from the state’s Department of Environmental Conservation and Department of Health. Vigorous outdoor work might be better postponed to early evening, and those who have respiratory disease, should consider limiting strenuous outdoor physical activity when ozone levels are the highest.
