12:05 a.m.: Radio Stew: Pneuma Wave Farm Artist-in-residence Daniel Steffey (Oakland, CA) presents Pneuma, a radio opera using broadcast feedback in conjunction with a series of compositions performed and assembled at Wave Farm.
1 a.m.: Vital Weekly: Chihei Hatakeyama
2 a.m.: FFFoxy Podcast: Ernesto Diaz-Infante Having done a couple of special feature shows on the last few episodes of the FFFoxy Podcast, the new music was starting to pile up in the ever so slow to be refurbished FFF bunker for episode #43. Seriously, listening to, and trying to make sense of, music over the past two months has involved sitting amongst stacks of dust-covered boxes in a dimly lit corner of a basement. Not necessarily an ideal listening environment to say the least, but I can’t complain. First world problems . . . blah, blah, blah. At any rate, things are starting to come together and I’m happy to be able to share some of this new music with you all this time around. There’s material from brand new tape imprints like Aught, Dionysian Tapes, and Adhesive Sounds – all of which are dealing with interesting abstract electronic sounds and are off to promising starts. There’s also plenty of old favorites like German Army, Greg Kelley and Jason Lescalleet, Rain Drinkers, Ernesto Diaz-Infante, and Vanessa Rossetto – all delivering the goods as usual. There’s much more, of course, but give the latest episode a listen and see what you think. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or comments.
6 a.m.: Background Briefing with Ian Masters Inside breaking international and national news. A radio program featuring international and national news, expert guests, policy makers and critics with analysis and insight on national security, foreign and domestic policy, political, cultural and social issues. This program goes far beyond the headlines and deep under the radar to bring forward truths unheard in the American media.
7 a.m.: WGXC Morning Show News, events, music and more. Live from the Hudson studio. Hosted by "Petee Pete" Lievense.
8 a.m.: Democracy Now! hosted by Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez. National, daily, independent, award-winning news program providing audiences with access to people and perspectives rarely heard in the U.S. corporate-sponsored media.
9 a.m.: WGXC Morning Show continues.
10 a.m.: @Issue: Don Moore Hudson Common Council President Don Moore will discuss the Hofstra Law School report on Hudson government, Viridian Energy and the city's energy usage and cost, the weighted vote and more. Hosted by Victor Mendolia.
4 p.m.: WGXC Afternoon Show
