Local weather forecast
Today's forecast is specific to Catskill, in Greene County:

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for eastern Greene and Columbia counties.
A coastal storm will allow for breezy conditions for late this morning through tonight. Wind gusts of 25 to 40 mph are expected. However, if wind gusts of 45 mph or greater appear likely then a wind advisory will be issued.

Rain and snow this afternoon will change over to all snow for the overnight hours. A light accumulation of snow is expected. However, a slight change in the track of the storm could make a moderate accumulation of snow possible. If this were to occur, then a winter weather advisory would be issued.

Today: A chance of rain and snow before 5 p.m., then a chance of snow. Cloudy. High near 38. Tonight rain and snow likely, becoming all snow after 8 p.m. Cloudy. Low around 30. Total snow accumulation of one to three inches possible.

The outlook for the next three days:

Thursday: A chance of rain and snow showers before noon. Then slight chance of rain showers between noon and 3 p.m. Cloudy. High near 43. Mostly cloudy overnight, then gradually becoming mostly clear. Low around 27.
