The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Greene, Columbia, Rensselaer, Albany, Dutchess and Ulster counties for Fri., Jan. 16. Isolated to scattered snow squalls are possible from morning into early afternoon as an arctic cold front crosses the region. While accumulations are expected to be light, snow squalls may produce quick burst of heavy snow significantly reducing visibility and causing hazardous travel conditions.
