GHENT Public Hearing before the Town Board of the Town of Ghent, to be held at the Ghent Town Hall, Route 66, Ghent, New York, on February 17, 2011 at 7:15 p.m. to consider a Resolution which would raise the maximum amount of yearly income for real property tax exemption for persons sixty-five (65) years of age or over from $26,000.00 to an amount not to exceed $29,000.00, and to consider an increase in the yearly income ceilings for partial exemptions for persons with yearly income greater than this amount, but less than an amount to be established by the Town Board which amount will be no greater than $37,399.00. 7:15 p.m. at Ghent Town Hall, 2306 State Route 66.
