The Perseid meteor shower, annually the night sky's best light show, should be visible Sunday and Monday, August 11 and 12, weather permitting. Space.com says, "the crescent moon setting before 11 p.m. won’t interfere with the meteors, which are best observed from a dark country location." Also, Monday, Aug. 12, Saturn will be visible just above the waxing crescent Moon.
