The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Red Flag Warning from noon to 6 p.m., Wed., May 13 for portions of east central New York and adjacent western New England. The warning is for gusty winds and low relative humidity. Any fires that may develop will likely spread rapidly and uncontrollably.

There's also a freeze warning in effect for Western Greene County and Western Ulster County from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. Thu., May 14.
