Apr 06, 2016 12:03 am
Casey Seiler at Capitol Confidential reports about Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's visit to Cohoes April 4. Clinton gave her stump speech in a packed Cohoes High School gym, after meeting in Albany with Democratic legislators and/or potential Clinton delegates at the national convention. Meanwhile, about 150 Bernie Sanders supporters held a rally at midday outside the Capitol in a snowstorm. At 10:30 a.m. April 7, Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz will be in Scotia at Mekeel Christian Academy at 36 Sacandaga Road in the gymnasium. There's a link here on the WGXC Newsroom for ticket information. New York's presidential primary is April 19. Read the full story in Capitol Confidential, a Times-Union blog.
