New WGXC program schedule

"The Albany Report," 10-11 a.m. Mondays
Former State Senator Cecilia Tkaczyk talks to various guests about how Albany really works. The hour-long show is broken down into two 1/2-hour segments. The first segment begins with a summary of the week's events and then delves into further discussion of a particular topic with a guest. The second 1/2 hour is devoted to taking calls from listeners.
"Vinyl Rundown," moved to 11 a.m.-noon Wednesdays, from 9:30-midnight.
DJ Chris Bishop reviews recent vinyl albums, singles and reissues. Bishop writes about '60s garage music at www.garagehangover.com
"What's the Frequency Kenneth," moved to 2-3 p.m. Fridays (with a repeat at 4 a.m. Saturdays), from Saturdays at 6 p.m.
"Newsical" produced by Paul Fischer, former News Director of WBAI, NY, and KPFA, Berkeley, and a writer for Dan Rather for 24 years on the "CBS Evening News."
"This Week in Radio News" now airs at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturdays, and 5:30 a.m. Sundays.
"Radio News" airs from midnight to 12:05 a.m. and 5 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. weekdays.
"CounterSpin" moved to 5 a.m. Saturdays from 5:30 a.m. Sundays.
"The RAIN Report" now airs at 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Saturdays, and 5:05 a.m. Tuesdays.
"ARRL Audio News" now airs at 6:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. Saturdays.
"PCJ Media Network Plus" now airs at 5:05 a.m. Mondays, moving from Tuesdays at 5 a.m.
"The Shortwave Report" now airs at 5:05 a.m. Fridays.
Both "Jump Back" and "Duquesne Whistle" are no longer on the air from noon-2 p.m. Tuesdays. "Newline Radio" is no longer on from 9:30 p.m. until midnight Fridays. (Apply at info@wgxc.org to fill the spot.)
