The Columbia Paper is reporting the Gallatin Democrats have selected Steven Sorman and Joseph Grabarz as candidates for Town Board in the November election. Sorman is an artist and served a previous two terms on the Gallatin Town Board. Grabarz represents college and university professors and other worker groups in Connecticut. The caucus also nominated incumbents Lisa DeLeeuw for town clerk and Fred Schultz for town justice. A statement released by the Democrats said the committee's candidates "have promised a spirited and forceful campaign." Read the full story in the Columbia Paper.
