Sep 23, 2015 12:03 am
Paul Nelson and Jordan Carleo-Evangelist report in The Albany Times-Union that Albany police are getting a $133,305 grant from the U.S. Justice Department for body cameras for police officers. The grant was submitted after an April incident in Albany, where police repeatedly used Tasers on Donald Ivy, who later died. Rochester, Spring Valley in Rockland County, and White Plains in Westchester County received similar grants. Read the full story in The Albany Times-Union.
