Greenville pays a median teacher salary of nearly $68,000 per year. The Germantown, Coxsackie-Athens, and Hudson districts all ranked in the top 10 percent of the 430 districts examined. Hudson was 82 on the list, the third worst performing district in the region, behind Schenectady and Albany. The majority of districts in Columbia and Greene counties placed near the middle.
