The day ahead on WGXC 90.7-FM
12:05 a.m.: Radio Stew: Radiophrenia Preview of sound tracks from "Radiophrenia" exhibition, a temporary art radio station and a week-long exploration into current trends in sound and transmission arts. Broadcasting live from Glasgow’s Centre for Contemporary Arts, the station aims to promote radio as an art form, encouraging challenging and radical new approaches to the medium. The broadcast schedule will include live shows, pre-recorded features and a daily series of ‘live-to-air’performances. The majority of the programme will be made up from selections submitted to an international open call for sound and radio works. Broadcasting across Glasgow on 87.9fm, and online at www.radiophrenia.scot from 13th – 19th April, 2015.
5:05 a.m. The RAIN Report: Ron Milliman Hap Holly, KC9RP, produces this 10 to 15-minute weekly amateur radio program, featuring timely interviews, occasional thought-provoking commentaries from other hams, excerpts from Hamvention Forums, and other items of general interest to the ham radio community at large. This week: "Part two of an interview with Dr. Ron Milliman/K8HSY, not just another blind ham."

6 a.m.: Background Briefing with Ian Masters Inside breaking international and national news. A radio program featuring international and national news, expert guests, policy makers and critics with analysis and insight on national security, foreign and domestic policy, political, cultural and social issues. This program goes far beyond the headlines and deep under the radar to bring forward truths unheard in the American media.
