Galvan Foundation, Housing Resources to partner

John Mason is reporting in the Register Star the Galvan Foundation and Housing Resources of Columbia County are embarking on a collaboration, according to statements released Wed., June 25. Henry van Ameringen, cofounder with T. Eric Galloway of Galvan, called the collaboration “an opportunity to ensure Housing Resources remains a formidable provider of affordable housing...." Housing Resources Board Chairman David Pearce said Galloway and Ameringen will provide "considerable expertise and support to Housing Resources’ mission of preserving and maintaining decent, safe and affordable housing in Columbia County." Ameringen and Galvan will assume seats on the Housing Resources Board of Directors. Pearce did not confirm if there will be a financial component to the relationship. He acknowledged Galvan's grant program and the variety of individuals and organizations that have received funding, but said only "...I’m sure we will, too." Read the full story in the Register Star.
