Wind Chill Warning and cold coming

The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Wind Chill Advisory until noon, Fri., Feb. 13 for the WGXC listening area, and including the Capital District and Mid-Hudson Valley. Bitterly cold wind chill readings as low as 15 to 25 below zero are expected Friday morning. Frostbite and hypothermia are possible for those without proper protection from the cold. Northwest winds of 10 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 35 mph, are expected. The sub-zero temperatures will continue through the weekend.
