Kyle Adams is reporting in The Daily Mail the Catskill Village Board will appoint a committee of advisers to monitor the treatment of historic structures located in the village. Catskill Village President Vincent Seeley said an official entity may be formed in the future. The historic preservation committee will help the village develop a set of written standards for historic renovation, including a menu of acceptable exterior facade changes. The committee could also help guide homeowners to federal and state tax incentives available for historic restoration projects. Read the full story in The Daily Mail.
